  5. Dokken was one of the s' most popular metal bands, at a time when the genre dominated popular music (or was at least on par with pop music). Back For The Attack is just such a quintessential '80s metal album - nearly every song will inspire you to throw "devil horns" in the air and lip sync in your car/5().

The band sounds tighter than they ever have before, and Don Dokken and George Lynch remain at the top of their game.6/

  7. Strong moments abound on Back for the Attack, from the aggressive riffing of "Kiss of Death" to the mid-paced AC/DC-esque "Standing in the Shadows" to the cock-rocky "Heaven Sent." This album was known for the movie soundtrack theme "Dream Warriors" but there was much more to be had for different cross-sections of Dokken's audience.

  8. Back for the Attack is the fourth studio album by American heavy metal band Dokken, released on November 2, through Elektra Records. A remastered edition featuring a bonus track was reissued in through Warner Music Japan.
